Just as a candle can help you navigate a dark room, one small beam of light can resolve many of life’s questions. Have you been seeking the bright daylight of wisdom and understanding? Searching for a beacon of hope and encouragement? Then turn to the one source of pure light, which the psalmist writer called “a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”……..God’s Word.
It will help to establish your purpose in life, clarify and strengthen your relationship with others and with God and provide encouragement and hope to the future.
I pray that the posts and articles on this site comfort and encourage you and that you come away with an increased awareness that nothing is too great for our Father and His heart towards His children is always loving and tender.
I pray you will be reminded that regardless of what challenges you face, God will provide you with the power and confidence to survive and conquer. You will be assured that God is a God of compassion, the One who holds your future in His hands and who walks beside you each step of the way.
Many of us have had that unpleasant realisation that someone you thought you knew was in fact, almost a stranger. Or maybe you had to hide behind a fake mask have because you were scared that if you opened up to another, that person wouldn’t understand or accept you as you really were. So you pretended to be exactly what you believed he or she wanted you to be.
Person to person relationships are the most important thing in this world and we need nothing to hurt or hinder them. Every one of us needs at least one friend whom we really know and trust and feel completely comfortable with.
What about your relationship with the most important Person of all–Jesus? Do you feel as comfortable with Him as you’d like? Do you feel you know him as well as your closest friend? Would you like to draw even closer to Him?
Jesus wants to be our very best mate–the One we all can totally trust, confide in, share life with. Knowing Him Better will help each of us to develop the type of strong relationship with Him that nothing in this world will ever break. Six Days A Week aims to share and discuss God’s enduring and unfailing love for each and every individual. And yes….. that means you and me!
