With God, one is a majority!! I didn’t go into the details of Genesis 14 in yesterday’s post but FOUR kings with their respective armies ransacked Sodom and carried off the inhabitants and all their possessions. Although we are not told how many men made up the armies represented, no doubt it numbered in the thousands or tens of thousands. If it was as in the days of Joshua, it could be in the hundreds of thousands!!

However, Abraham wasn’t focused on numbers he was focused on God’s will and God’s ability! Being thus focused, he saw no problem defeating them with his 318 men!!

Try to remember as you perhaps face seemingly insurmountable problems today (as in overcoming a besetting pet sin perhaps) that with God on your side, you are a majority!
